Tonight’s the big night! This evening hundreds of Fair Trade supporters will gather around the country to watch the PBS broadcast of Black Gold - the critically acclaimed documentary following an Ethiopian Fair Trade cooperative. If you are one of our many house party hosts – thank you for your exceptional leadership. From intimate gatherings in your homes to café talks and university film discussions, we’ve been inspired and heartened by your amazing response and eagerness to share Fair Trade with your family, friends and greater communities. We cannot wait to hear how your events go!

The film beautifully and hauntingly illustrates the struggles faced by coffee farmers worldwide as they work to market their crops internationally in the face of geographic isolation, fluctuating market prices and global power imbalances.
