LMBB in Springfield to Share the Gift of Life
Come see LMBB at the 56th Annual Springfield Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 6th! Our theme is The Gift of Life and we’ll be handing out candy, showing off our holiday hounds, and debuting Santa Blood Drop Claus to help spread the word about the first Springfield Community Blood Drive.
This first of regularly scheduled blood drives designed to better serve the Springfield community will be held Saturday, December 20th from 10am-3pm at Willamalane Recreation Center at 250 South 32nd Street. It’s certain to be a fun-filled day, including door prizes, snacks and treats, a Kids’ Korner, and games with prizes. We’ll also be visited by Santa Blood Drop Claus and his faithful dog, Hollywood the Bloodhound. A staff photographer will be on hand to capture the festivities.

To be a blood donor, you must be at least 16 years old, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, and be in good general health. Please bring picture ID with you.
