It's been almost 7 years since I read Mountains Beyond Mountains and I finally got to see Tracy Kidder speak! Yipee!

He was speaking at the University of Oregon about Dr. Paul Farmer and his dedication to bring medicine to Haiti and cure Haiti of infectious diseases. The book is unforgettable... Please read if you have the time or inclination!
