Beautiful Days

Hi everyone! This past week has been beautiful. I was finally able to start riding my bike to work today. It was quite chilly but perfect for the commute!
I've finally started working on the yard this spring. This past weekend I spent twelve hours weeding and spring cleaning our back yard. Last night I put in some edging until Dan forced me to leave my work for another day. We capped off the end of the day by going on our daily walk to the park with the dogs and to the the market. We always pick up a Ninkasi or Rogue Beer - brewed locally!
Today I am looking forward to picking up vegetable starts from the nursery. What should we have this year?
I think I am going to add a new section of garden too. However, this means hours of removing sod and additional weeding :) - the woes of creating garden from grass. Picture a tiered garden next to my vegetable boxes. Vegetable boxes and tiered gardens are a great way to reuse Mom's leftover decking material!
